I am a registered social worker and psychotherapist that provides counselling services in-person, in my London, Ontario office. Sessions are available Monday through Friday, daytime and evening.

Specializations include anxiety, depression, emotion regulation, PTSD, developmental trauma (C-PTSD), operational stress injuries, addictions, relationship issues, life transitions, attachment dynamics, parenting issues and more.

I believe that we are all doing the best we can, even when it doesn’t feel that way. It can feel like aspects of ourselves get in the way of feeling present, confident, relaxed, safe, content and happy. Those aspects can also get in the way of our relationships.

Change can be so difficult. It may even feel impossible.

Life is hard and complicated.
It is also full of possibility.

We often find ourselves ‘stuck’ in patterns or coping strategies that get in the way of our peace, fulfillment and happiness. All of those coping strategies most likely worked for you at some point in your life. But now, they might be getting in the way. Anger outbursts, emotional disconnect, intense worrying or ruminating, people pleasing, controlling tendencies and substance use, are just some of the strategies we use to cope with life’s stress. These behaviours can persist, even at the expense of our own well-being, and the well-being of those around us. Luckily, our brains and bodies have the capacity for change.

My Process

  • Initial Consultation

    The first step is to reach out and schedule a consultation. During this call, we'll discuss your needs and determine if my services align with what you are looking for. This initial conversation allows us to ensure that we are a good fit to work together towards your therapy goals.

  • Booking Your Appointment

    Once we've established that we are a good fit for one another, you can easily book your first appointment. You can schedule your session via email or directly through a phone call. Prior to your appointment, you'll complete an intake form and confidentiality agreement to ensure I have the necessary information and maintain your privacy.

  • Your First Appointment

    Your first session with me is an opportunity for us to get to know each other better. We'll discuss your concerns, explore your intentions for therapy, and begin to uncover what it is you want for yourself and what might be getting in the way.
